Story Behind the Girl
Jada Jenkins is a notable educator, licensed hairstylist, and salon owner. With over 15 years of experience in the hair industry, Jada is passionate about educating both stylists and clients. In addition to her styling expertise, she is a certified specialist in non-surgical hair replacement. Jada stops at nothing to ensure quality satisfaction for her clients.
Jada’s passion for her craft has propelled her to extraordinary achievements that have allowed her to reach beyond the reach of her salon. As a respected voice in the hair industry, she holds a role as a Mizani L’Oreal professional educator, participated on the promotional tour for “Daytime Divas”, and exhibited her work during an Elle Magazine event. As a result of her excellent work, Jada was offered the opportunity to showcase her talents during the BET Music Awards and New York Fashion Week shows for several years. Some of Jada’s notable celebrity clientele include Star Jones, Kelly Price, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sherri Shepherd, Tasha Cobbs-Leonard, Nene Leakes, Debra Lee, Yvonne Orji, Teyana Taylor, and Lynn Whitfield, among others.
Beyond her role as a stylist, Jada is the salon owner of L’amour de Rose which means “Love of Pink” in French, where the seek they seek to place value upon the beauty of every client served. Beyond serving clientele and the personal vision of Jada, they offer an annual “ I Believe in Pink” empowerment event for young girls, ages 5-15. This event is designed to promote self-esteem, enhance character, and provide education to young girls on hair and personal self-care techniques.
As a motivated and ambitious woman, Jada has made it her life’s work to encourage other women. Her work ethic is unmatched as she goes above and beyond to execute her client’s visions and surpass their expectations. Jada has a keen eye for cutting edge hairstyles while educating her clients to promote healthy hair and lasting good habits. As a stand-out artist in the hair industry, she makes it a priority to continue educating herself to ensure she continually offers significant value to her industry peers and clientele.
